Thank you for selecting Kenosha Country Club as the venue for your function. The information below will assist you in planning your event and become familiar with Kenosha Country Club policies.
Dress Code
The general Clubhouse attire is casual dress in good taste. It is the responsibility of all members, guests and users of the Club to comply with the Club Dress Code. The Board of Directors of Kenosha Country Club (KCC) have instructed the Club Staff to inform all dress code violators that they are prohibited from using the Club. Denim, of any color or nature is not allowed in the Clubhouse or on the grounds.
Exclusivity
Kenosha Country Club prohibits the serving of any food or beverage on our premises that is not purchased from KCC, with the exception of cakes. Due to strict health regulations, any food ordered through the Club cannot be removed from the premises after the event. Any other exceptions require the expressed written consent from the Club.
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
In accordance with Wisconsin State Law, the Club will not allow any persons less than 21 years of age to be served alcoholic beverages. Kenosha Country Club also reserves the right to withhold alcohol from any person deemed impaired.
Menus and Pricing
Due to fluctuating market conditions, menus and prices are subject to change without notice. Firm food and beverage prices are quoted thirty (30) days prior to the function, if requested. Two weeks prior to your event, please inform the Club Manager of your choice of entree, and specifics relating to your function, as well as your estimated number of guests. Any group with tax-exempt status must provide a certificate to KCC 72 hours prior to the function.
The final charge will be based on the greatest of the following: the guaranteed food and beverage minimum or the actual number of guests in attendance. KCC reserves the right to make a final count on the day of the event in order to confirm the number of guests in attendance.
Tax and Service Charge
Menu prices do not include tax or service charge. Food and beverage items are charged a mandatory service charge of seventeen and a half percent (17.5%). Food, beverages and service charges are subject to a sales tax of five and a half percent (5.5%) in accordance with state and county law.
Deposits, Payments and Billing
A non-refundable retainer and signed function contract are required to confirm your function date and time. Fifty percent (50%) of the proposed bill is due sixty (60) days prior to the event, with the balance being paid in full ten (10) days prior to the event. If for any reason payment is delayed by 30 days or more, a ten percent (10%) late fee will be charged.
A corporate direct bill may be set up. Arrangements for payment will be made according to previous payment history. All functions requesting this service are required to fill out a credit application thirty (30) days prior to the event. Social functions are not eligible for direct billing.
Refunds and Cancellations
Kenosha Country Club requires all cancellation notices be in writing. Cancellations that take place 6 months or longer from the date of the event, will have eighty percent (80%) of their deposit refunded. If cancellation takes place less than 6 months prior to the event, no refund will be granted.
Flowers, Decorations, Entertainment and Outside Services
Floral arrangements, decorations, place cards, napkins, bands, DJ’s, etc. may be brought into the Club with management’s approval. It is specifically understood that decorations, signage, and other such and similar items will not be attached in any manner to the walls, doors or structures of any part of the building. Decorating with confetti or glitter is prohibited. Direct shipments, special handling, set-up of displays, etc. must be prearranged with the Club Manager. Coordination and charges of storage, loading, unloading and exhibit set-up is the responsibility of the patron. The delivery of cakes, flowers, etc., must be prearranged with the Club Manager no less than 72 hours prior to the function.
Audio Visual Rental and Music
Any intended use of the audio/visual equipment must be arranged with the Club Manager no less than 72 hours prior to the function. The Business Office must be notified 48 hours in advance for any cancellation of equipment. You will be charged for any lost or stolen equipment rented for your event. Kenosha Country Club controls the volume of all music.
Departure Time and Closing
Failure to vacate the premises in a neat and clean condition, requiring only vacuuming, no later than the date and time agreed upon, will authorize Kenosha Country Club to charge the patron labor charges for the removal of decoration, exhibit or display refuse. Evening functions will end no later than midnight.
Property Damage and Hold Harmless
The event coordinator is responsible for the proper conduct of all guests. The event contact is liable for any damages to any person or the facility (including golf course or equipment) caused by their guests and will be billed for damages incurred.
Kenosha Country Club will be held harmless for any and all damages and destruction, including theft or mysterious disappearance to any and all equipment owned or leased to your function.
