Founded in 1898, Kenosha Country Club originally opened as a golfing club on Kenosha's south lakeshore. As Kenosha grew, so did the country club, relocating in 1920 to our present location on the northeast side of Kenosha County. Donald J. Ross, one the world's Premier Architects, created the 18-hole championship layout in 1922, which is considered one of the finest in Wisconsin, and often appears on its list of 'Top Ten' courses. With a new home and invigorated membership, Kenosha Country Club flourished, and in 1969 the seasonal clubhouse was replaced with the year round clubhouse of today.

In 1999, the clubhouse was remodeled in the modern craftsman style, with quality design elements that provide pleasure to all of those who appreciate the finer things. The building was brought to a new level of class and comfort with the latest renovations in 2012, when the entire clubhouse including the Grandview Ballroom, Ross Veranda Meeting Room, and Grille Room & Bar underwent a spectacular renovation.

As an increasingly family orientated Club, Kenosha Country Club offers a heated swimming pool where many families gather to enjoy daily activities. With the rise in popularity of tennis, the Club added to the existing tennis courts and completely replaced them in 2014. This is where tournaments are played at both state and local levels.

Today, our Club offers the perfect blend of character and beauty inside and out. From our Donald Ross designed golf course, to our lighted tennis facilities, heated swimming pool, and inviting clubhouse our activity offering is as diverse as our membership. As we near our 120th year celebration, we invite you to enjoy all that we have to offer.
